Problem Note 56760: When you use SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Hadoop to query Hadoop Hive tables, the SQL queries fail and an error occurs

When you use SAS/ACCESS Interface to Hadoop to query Hive tables, your SQL queries might fail, resulting in the following error:

ERROR: Execute error: Error while compiling statement: FAILED: SemanticException [Error 10036]: 
Duplicate column name:

The problem occurs when there are duplicate column names in the table.

To resolve the problem, rename the column in the Hadoop table using Hue or a similar utility.

Note: In SAS® 9.4 TS1M2 and earlier, the job stops responding. In this situation, kill the job.
